newbie here need to change axis

im not sure if im even in the right place here so please feel free to move this post if need be. thanks what i need to know is how do i change the axis when building? im follow the dir for building a simple clock things were going ok until i put in to set min hand time. it rotates in the wrong dir, thur the face instead of round it.

using a script?

if so head up alittle bit to the scripting tips forum, unfortunately scripted rotation is a bit of a pain to deal with (untill you get/make a nifty rotation calculator)

Change your axis in the object panel from Global to Local or if making attachments you can rotate relative to attachment position.

i just kept hammering away at until i got figured out thanks turns out all i needed to do is place texture on a diff face until i found the right one thanks
