Can some please advise me as to why this audio stream is not working on my "Group" owned property (Yes I'm a officer). It works fine via my PC. Just not in SL. So I figured that I'm doing something wrong...or not doing something.

http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/kont.m3u

Thanks for the input.

m3u is a playlist file and sl will not recognize it. Shoutcast uses playlists so that you can use one link to connect to a cluster (bunch of shoutcast relays). What you need to do is download kont.m3u from that url, open it up in notepad or some text editor, and choose one of the url's in there.

This is a wierd one, it only has one url inside it.

the direct url is http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/kont. Try putting that into the property music url.

It still may not work because it's only 16kbps and 11Khz. I don't think sl supports that format. If it doesn't you'd have to relay it from your own server and reencode it in the process.

Just http://audio.liveatc.net:8012 should do it if they have a default "index" file. Most streaming servers work with just the URL followed by a colon and port number.
