Spontaneous sun twitches?

Anyone noticed lately the sun spontaneously deciding to rise or set at the wrong times? It usually ends up correcting itself back to the proper position within five minutes or so, but... it's weird. And it's DEFINITELY a server side problem, since my scripts are telling me the sun is changing position too.

(Yes, I've bug reported it, I just want to make sure that I'm not going crazy, and if anyone's noticed a pattern. The two of the three times I've checked my clock, it's been within 10 minutes of Noon.)

The sun cycles have been borked ever since 1.5.0. I used to try to schedule events at Tribal Drums to coincide with sim-sunset, because the lot has such a lovely over-water westward view, but this has been impossible for a couple of months now.

It got better circa 1.5.4, but still has problems.

You can always use that Alt-N to get noon sun, from the Debug menu. I believe Debug is enabled with Ctrl-Alt-D.

Shine light on those bugs.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

*stabbity stabbity stabbity stabbity stabbity*

I HATE Alt+N and Alt+M. On the few occasions I bump it on, I immediately am compelled to restart the client to get "real" sunlight back into the game. On the even RARER occasion that I actually USE Alt+M, I restart after I'm done.
