Downloading the update

The last few days my broadband has been dodgy... which is strange considering it has worked for 5 years with no long term problem.

But anyway. It just so happens that this update was released to coincide with these problems, and this update - more than anything else - just will not work. It's hard to know if thats because the updater is a piece of crap, or if it's just my internet that is the problem.

When my internet is working fine, I will try to load the update, but the MOMENT I begin to download the update, my cable modem disconnects itself automatically, which I find perplexing.

The furthest I got with the update was about 2 megabytes, but that was after a lot of hair pulling.

So, how big is this update? And is there any alternative source to download this update? As I do not trust the updater that comes with the program.
