AV texture corruption

I've recently found myself wearing the textures of surrounding builds in patches on my clothing and skin. Relogging & clearing my cache doesn't help. I'm pretty sure this has happened to others... does anyone know if it's a client or server side issue ? Should I reinstall the client, seek Linden assistance to repair my AV data or just wait for yet another bug report to yield a solution ?

AMD64 3700+, nVidia 7800GT, 2Gig RAM, 2Mb adsl.

I had this problem just the other day. In the picture below, you can see pixels from my avatar's clothes randomly scattered over the rest of my av.

Turns out the problem was my video drivers. I have an Nvidia 6600 GT. I'd just upgraded to the latest Forceware drivers on Nvidia's website. When I went back to an old version (77.77), the texture corruption went away.

Thanks for the reply... I wonder if I have the same problem though, the whole of my trousers turned into a Canimal clothing display yesterday ! I do have the latest nvidia drivers (not beta) so it might be worth a try.
