Stops at connecting to region

Hi, ive only been in sl for 2 days but i woke this morning to it loading up fine untill it gets to the 'connecting to region' point and then it stopped. Ive trawled the forums and tried everything ive read on them, reinstalling, trying another region, turning all settings low, rebooting ect. Ive even made an alt to try and get some in-game help but it also sticks at the same point.

Im just wondering what helped all the others who had this problem,as there arnt many posts saying how it was cured afterwards as i guess they run right back off to play when its cured rather than come here

Im really liking what ive seen so far so dont want to be stuck calling support forever
