Okay so since the update I had not been able to connect at all. Everytime I'd get to verifying protocol I'd crash to desktop. Well, after the 50th time trying today I opened up my IM's and resigned myself to boredom. Decided to try again. If you can not get in, sign into Windows Live Messenger. After that you should be able to connect LL must have seriously fudged up ports.

Ignore this seeing as how it only worked once. Now I'm back to not being able to log in again. Way to go LL monkeys.

Not sure the relationship between SL Client and Windows Live Messenger have... unless a DLL had been corrupted and installing a programme that shares a DLL to SL, installed a fresh copy??

From: AWM Mars Not sure the relationship between SL Client and Windows Live Messenger have... unless a DLL had been corrupted and installing a programme that shares a DLL to SL, installed a fresh copy?? Three times actually. I can get in now. But I have to try repeatedly. Like say about 7-12 times per time I actually want to log in. Hope LL enjoys the plethora of crash reports.
