My friend and I are building a house. He builds and I texture. However, I can add textures to his items, but I cannot select one side, of say a cube, and adjust the texture on just that one side.
However, he can do that to objects I have made.
Any idea as to why this is?

I had that recently, the 'error' said I have to select the whole of the linked prims to set permissions.. EH?.. its a single prim.... or.. when selecting a single side of a prim... you cannot modify this prim.. EH? I just made it myself LOL..

Hey AWM.. you filmed the club I manage last week, with Mies.  It's a single prim, a wall for instance. I want the inside of the wall one texture, and the outside another. I can drag a different texture to each side, but when I want to adjust one side different than the other, I cannot click on the "select texture" button and select just one side. When I click on "select texture" then click on the side I want, it unselects the whole prim. Someone suggest uninstalling and reinstalling. |

Select only my objects was on... turned it off, seems to be working now. Thanks!
