Name change needed real bad

I have just found out that there is a real life Maureen McMahon. She seems to be awell known writer in some circles. I don't want anything I do to be associated with her.

Is there just no way to get my name changed even in this awward case?

Never heard of anyone getting their named changed ever, fastest would be to just remake a new alt ~.~ tho you cant transfer any no transfer items to it.

You might get lucky with the Lindens on this subject, but in case you don't, just put in your profile "not the author of Shadows in the Mist".

This is not unprecedented in the real world. If my birth name was "George Bush", I could open a store called "George Bush's Hog Remnants" because it is my name.

You obviously didn't choose the name to conflict, and with the limited choice of surnames, collisions were bound to happen.
