With this latest update I've found that my chat fonts are transparent and do not change when I adjust the colors. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm with you. I can't see anything being typed. All clear.

Quit SL, delete your settings.xml file, then start again. You will have to re-enter some of your preferences, but this is supposed to fix the chat color issue.

The Application Data folder is hidden by default. Try opening My Computer. At the top, Tools > View > Hidden Files and Folders. Make sure "Show hidden files" is checked. If not, check it, Apply. It should now show up : )

Yes! I tried with Live Help and they told me exactly the same. Thank you very much, Sue.

on the Mac I deleted the user_settings folder, it's a bit of overkill probably but it worked for me, I was in a hurry !
~/library/application support/secdonLife/user_settings. I expect the folder has the same name on the PC _____________________
