I recently downgraded my account, sold my land and sold all of my Linden Dollars for real life money. The trouble is the Linden Dollars have been taken from my account, but the real money is no where to be seen. I received an email saying this:
Dear Sarah85 Oh,
Your request to process a credit amount of $36.17 to PayPal account ****** has been recieved. Upon confirmation of account details, we will send payment as follows.
Amount requested: $36.17 USD
Processing fee: -$1.00 USD
Payment total: $35.17 USD

I emailed support but they didn't answer. I dont know if I have to do anything or just wait. When I wanted to pay them money it comes out of my account instantly - seems that it is not so easy to get money out of them!

Ah ok thanks. The reason I was getting a bit worried is that I wasn't sure what the email meant. It would be better if hey emailed you saying "Your request to process a credit amount of $36.17 to PayPal account ****** has been recieved. This may take up to 5 working days" or something like that. I wasn't sure what they meant about verifying my account becasue my paypal account is verified.

Well I still haven't received my funds and its been over a week now. Whats more annoying is the fact that they haven't replied to the message I sent to support. Fair enough - it might take over a week for them to process it but they could at least reply and let me know what is going on!

i sympathise Sarah. i've waited ten days for the money to reach paypal the very first time i cashed out, but since then, it's usually been seven days .. which is still unreasonable in my opinion..but we come to accept these things I think  . the billing address is useless. you really need to give them a call if you think something has gone wrong, but even that can be difficult (disconnections while in the queue, promises of callbacks after a ten minute wait, only to never receive that call, etc. )
