Okeey funny thing, im playing sl, la la la,, and then sim crashes, fair enough, try to log on and i get the "your video card appears to be GDI Generic" , funny it wasnt that when i logged on earlier O.o

Testing stuff to see why on earth i got this all of a sudden :) ( Gf6800gt )

Ok there is a fault with Nvidia 77.72 drivers and SL
1 st time you log in, works
2 nd time you log , you get "Generetic GDI"

-noprobe didnt do anything , previous 71.84 drivers did not have this.
Rolled back to 71.84 , log in, log out, log in, works.

*tap fingers* ok.... now i got it again even with 71.84 drivers ;_; ,,, (restarts about 10 more times to try things)

 talking to myself, i still get GDI error after i relog,, dont know why never got that before, using older driver excactly the same.

So basicly relog = reboot machine for me right now, since SL refuse to let me log in

Starting to suspect my vid card is overheating ^^ ,,, turned off local light, now after i log off SL, i CAN log in,

**solved**
actually the whole thing was cause of a loose 12v to vid card,, go figure
