unable to view streaming video

hi,
for some reason everytime i try to view streaming video, the "streaming dots" lock up and nothing happens all I see is the blue Q. I have tried the following and nothing worked: 1) uninstall and reinstall quicktime 2) install quicktime 6.5.2 3)edit the cache to be 1000mb 4) clear cache.. I am still unable to view streaming video..

any ideas?

Yuh i get that to, lots of dots , so i reinstalled quicktime 7 , restarted pc, and then it worked, anyone else can see the stream right?.

i meant the streaming dots showing the streaming under the Q of quicktime. if anyone has any clue how to resolve this issue i would appreciate it.

my streaming quicktime wasnt working and found a solution ... go into quicktime, preferences ( quicktime ) look for streaming parcel and set port to 80 ( should be there but greyed out )
