Has anyone been having any problems with the Omega drivers on SL? I know the program doesn't like ATI period, but I've never crashed nearly as bad as i have been lately, trying to narrow down the problems. At times I've had them 30 minutes apart, others instantly when I log in (making me think it's a driver issue)

Try giving NGO's Optimized ATI driver if you think Omega is the cause. I dunno how NGO's compares to Omega's though.

Well, I installed those drivers, and still crashing.. put the omegas back in, turned off VPU, still crashing... I thought it was heat, but I have my case open, have a desk fan blowing right into the case agains tthe motherboard and card and all that jazz. It's the only game that seems to be crashing on me anymore (I filtered out others) I used to get BSOD's from my soundcard (SB Live with a Via motherboard... they don't get along) But i have the KX drivers on it, so no conflicts... I'm running out of things to try here. Sound is disabled on SL, so it shouldn't be touching that; I have shine on,a few of the graphical settings up (Model, terrain detail, partical counts..) It's never crashed before I get in, and the earliest I've crashed is right when I log in, making me wonder if there's a script my SL doesn't like, or a setting some driver I have doesn't like.. I dunno

Bump: Fully reinstalled my Omega drivers and SL; havn't fiddled with any of their settings, so I'm basicly running in 'default mode', will update on if I get a crash within th enext half hour or not. - And within seconds of posting, it dies on me... *bangs his head on his desk*

*rubs his chin* Well, in a last ditch effort, I tried to swap my ram from slot 1 and 2, to 3 and 4.... after that, some programs wouldn't install, and SL would run a max of 5 seconds... putting chip 2 into slot 1, and vice versa after; I've only had one crash in about an hour and a half... so methinks I need some new sticks, heh.
