second voice connection issue |

I installed the second voice client and the required prereq programs, and now SL wont let me connect. it gets to the protocol stage in the login whether I have the voice client running or not, then dies. its not my connection, and nothing else has changed.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling SL? There's an off chance that something you installed overwrote some vital file that SL needs to connect. Not *incredibly* likely, but I've found that reinstalling fixes a fair numberof things.

done and no help
 installed fine, still hangs on verifying protocol version _____________________

Some program is blocking Second Life's network access. See:

and now it works. no clue why, but it didnt work for almost an hour
