Samsung R20 Laptop Won't Run SL

Hello there

I'm an avid SL user on my PC and have just bought a Samsung R20. It has dual core, 1GB Ram and ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics.

I read on a forum that this gfx card would be sufficient to run SL. I've installed it with no problems but when I run it...it doesn't even get as far as the login screen before crashing. No error message just a crash message.

Can anyone help? Is it my graphics?

short summary;

Ati + vista + SL = wont work, Ati's vista opengl need work
Ati + xp + SL = work
Nvidia + vista or xp + SL = work

Theres a few threads about it, somewhere -.-
