I am able to play streams with WinAmp or any other software that plays streaming media. However, recently I am unable to hear audio streams in SL...others hear the streams on my land fine. As well, my video works fine. Anyone have any ideas on the issue? What software drives SL audio streams (i.e. QT drives SL video)? This is a recent problem. In-world sound effects and other audio works fine -- just music streams.
Thanks in advance...

Have you checked Streaming Music in 'Music TV& Movies settings in Preferences? Sometimes when upgrading the client, it defaults to off.

A whole bunch of us recently hit this problem, with a server streaming fine to one parcel and not to another. I control the server, so there was no issues with listener numbers etc. Every one of us had to log out and back in to get the stream playing. IIRC, there was a mix of new and old client versions, so it could be a problem with the land options themselves.
