crashing!! help me please!!

why do i keep crashing?my comp is new and it just started crashing on me.it says it collects info on my hardware ..and i keep sending them but it doesnt work.but somtimes i can be on for hours and itll crash on me

Ever since I have downloaded this new update, I keep crushing too. I think this has to do with memory overload, but not sure. I have no other programs running but SL.

SL crashing

I installed SL and eversince i tried to login I have the problem that after few seconds SL is crashing....

Sounds familliar - or ?

Crashing can be caused by an array of issues. A general crash statement isnt going to give you very good results.

To help figure out what the problem could be, you might want to post what the error was.

For WinXP users, you can select the properties of "my computer" and then go into computer management, there you will find the event viewer. inside of it, there are application logs and system logs that record events that have occurred.

This may shed quick light into the problems that you are having. Do you have all the service packs installed? Have you done a windows update? Are you plagued by adware applications, trojens, viruses?

If so, you may want to actually have someone look at your system that has some knowledge as to what the real problem may be and not point to the game as the source.
