Weird Lines in the Viewer

I'm cross posting this in 1.7 Feedback and here in Technical issues, in the hope that the right Lindens will see it faster. Sorry for the duplication, but I really want to make sure this gets squashed fast.

Anyone else experiencing these strange lines? So far I know one other person besides me who is. Lines of varying width run from random prims to points on the ground. This didn't happen in the preview. I was on it just this morning and everything was fine.

Replied in other thread, i cleared cache and it went away, maybe some corruption from using preview on same machine.

Yes, I see this, and I have not been in the preview for weeks.

I have a Radeon 9800 here, shiny on, everything (lighting, shadows &c) off at the moment.

This is a very, very unfortunate glitch. In my case, the effect is far worse than what you are seeing. I shall try to clear my cache to remove it, but the very fact it can happen at all is worrisome.

I was getting these too. Running a Geforce 6600 GT, will try clearing the cache when the grid comes back up.

I had one and bug reported in as "Weird Blue Line' - so I had the name correct! :-D Will go clear my cache.

^ excact the same lines i had when i had bad memory stick in my pc, or i run a xvid/divx movie along with wow on other screen (rare that one tho)

Seems more got it, prob a client bug then, :) good, that they can fix eventually, give it 2 more patches :P
