Game Crashing on Inventory Deletion

I have the latest SL updates as of 04/27/05 and have onloy noticed that the game frequently crashes more often when deleting things out of my inventory. I try to organize and make my inventory as lean as possible but it sure does get annoying when trying to delete some inventory items. I have mainly noticed it when deleting body/clothing styles.

I reported it several times but not sure it submitted cause the crash reporter was not responding either. :-(

Just curious if anyone has noticed something like this on their end?

I will be officially joining the SL community soon as my trial ends and can't wait for this game to become so much better.

Hiya Kurshie, and welcome to SL, look beyond the bugs and it's great :D

I have been experiencing this problem too, I've usually mentioned it in the crashlog each time (though as you say the crashlog responder is often awful slow).

It has been happening since the advent of version 1.6 and it usually happens with a random wearable item, delete it and down goes the client.

I *think* possibly it most commonly occurs with something that you were very recently wearing, like have just taken off in fact....

Could well be a problem with the new streaming inventory system I suppose, which often seems very slow to update with the server ?

Just a note for anyone who may be curious on this issue...

I was able to get around the inventory delete crashing by dragging the items to the trash bin rather than right-clicking the object and clicking Delete. I guess the right-click delete functionality has some buggers in it.

Maybe this should be made as a sticky post for newcomers?
