Email Reply to IMs

I have my IMs set to go to my email if I am offline. I had always been able to reply to those IMs via email and the sender would get my reply.

However, over the past few days, I get a bounce message from the LL email server:
Command died with status 100: "/opt/linden/indra/tools/mailglue/mailglue
--grid=agni --system=im". Command output: This email to instant message
session has expired.

This never happened before and the IM is at most 30 minutes to an hour old.

Is anyone aware of this problem? I really rely on this feature to stay in touch with my wife when I'm not online....

If your are using HOTMAIL it might not work. Read the following knowledge base article:

* Outbound IM to email works for Hotmail
* Inbound email to IM does not work for Hotmail
* The email addresses use mixed case (UpAndDown). Hotmail appears to convert all sent email to use only lower case.
