Unusually low time dilation since Wednesday ?

I'm no newcomer when it comes to lag and I'm an expert in keeping my sim in pristine condition. But since Wednesday I've noticed everytime someone leaves or enters the sim, time dilation tends to drop massively and stays down for up to 30 seconds before slowly creeping up again. This used to happen in the past and was fixed ( I thought ), has something happened to break it again ?

I'm fairly sure I've waited long enough since the update to complain about this, surely the grid should have settled by now ?

Images Time or Net Time or Agents Time goes up at the same time, too, doesn't it? I've taken to keeping my stats panel open all the time so I can watch these fluctuations. It's maddening to me that every time someone shows up in my sim, the first thing they see as they rez is the entire place lagging horribly, avatars skidding linearly off into the distance through walls on their last trajectories, and my automated drones and cars going nuts.

You've got a nice low script count in Svarga and last I was there, your Total Frame Time was less than 22.2, so there's no reason you should be dilating.

One thing I've seen upon occasion: sometimes none of the time stats goes up at all, and I'm seeing dilation in my sim even when the total frame time is near 15ms. Have you ever seen this?

This has happend in every sim i been in no matter how many people, content, or scripts, reminds me of rolling update in background, beats me can tell when it hits tho.

It's not quite so low now I've let the plants spread around the sim a little but they were doing that before the update with no problem. So yes I think there's no reason it should be dilating as much as it is atm.

I'll see if this is happening next time I come online.

I got a response earlier that it was due to a memory leak.

In that case, it sounds to me like it's the Images Time memory leak that's been around since like 1.8.
