I just downloaded the new version and tried to login, every time I get as far as the "Performing Account Maintenance" and then "updating friends list" appears before I get a "Login Failed" message.
I havent changed anything in my system and I turned off Nortons to make sure it wasn't that. To be super-sure I then did a complete clean install of version 1.11.1.1 but I still get a login fail every time at the same point.
What might be relevant is that in the last day or so of the last patch I had problems with people dropping off my friends list so the stage at which my login fails is suspicious. Might that friends file be corrupted or something?
PS: the website works normally for me including my account info page and the friends online page
