how do i edit sound files?

i have a few sound files i'd like to import to Sl....i've converted them to correct format...but they're too long.........i'd like to be able to still play them at that length...........any suggestions please?

Antoinette, the maximum length of a sound is 10 seconds, so you'll have to break up the sounds into 10 second clips. To play them in sequence, this little script should work (I'm not in-world, so I have no way to check).

     	llPlaySound( sound_3, 1.0 ); // queue the 3rd sound
     	llSleep( 10.0 ); // sleep til the 3rd sound starts playing
    	llPlaySound( sound_4, 1.0 );

     	.
     	.
     }

The Sleep functions have to be there because the queue is only one sound deep, so you have to wait for the queued sound to start before you add another to the queue.
