While in either First Look or regular SL clients, often times my screen will lock-up and then go blank, forcing me to do a manual restart of my computer. I've tried SL with Warcat drivers, and am now using Catalyst from ATI. Soon I will switch to Omega. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or what I can do to alleviate it.
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3200+
RAM - 1024 mb DDR
Gfx - ATI x800 w/ Catalyst drivers

I have a similar set up, and it's about the same. my mouse will lock on screen and a reboot is the only fix, so i second this petition for help. ?

Try the Omega Drivers. They've helped a lot of SL users who have ATI cards.
