Well, I read the PopSci article, and decided to check it out. Good stuff.
Anyways, everything installs/DL's fine, and I log in. Fine.
Then, a few moments after I'm standing there, all spiffy in my new 3d clothes,
textures start flashing across my avatar's body. Not the landscape, mind you,
but just the avatars. Including the ones around me. It didn't seem to be bothering
the other new people there, so I think it was just on my side.

Screens:

It happens continuously; Sometimes fluctuating, taking on various textures such as
tree-patterns, leopard skin, and if I'm lucky, my actually skin/clothing, for a brief moment.
If I leave it be, not moving or any-such things, it might stay on one particular texture.
The one that makes me looks like I have leprosy, is the most common one, and the one
I seem to be stuck on right now.

I restarted the client, I cleared the cache, I did both. I even restarted my PC.
The Live-Help said my Intel Graphics card isn't supported; This mean I get to be
this Bible-wannbe/Tattooed-Convict for good? :p

Your photos have been "moved or deleted" from Photobucket. i wanted to see 'cause my friend signed on yesterday at my suggestion and is having the same problem. When she tries to edit her appearance, instead of he choice shots "long - short" "thicker - thinner" in the editing menu, she sees flashing textures - every texture in her inventory apparently and a bunch she doesn't know where they came from. Sometimes, but not always, the textures rotate crazily on her skin and/or clothing as well, but it is ALWAYS a mess when she tries to "edit appearance".

Any help would be appreciated 'cause she's ready to give up on SL.
