Hello,

I have the Radeon Xpress 200m 32bit video card. Running windows vista
Everytime I try to open second life i get a crash before the login screen opens.
I have tried about every solution I could find.... But nothing has been able to fix my problem...
Can someone please help me here.

thanks

I have this issue too. I reported it to Tech Support and submitted a Ticket for them to investigate. Have you contacted Tech Support or submitted a Ticket?

usually... if its crashing before the log in screen, its something either bad in the cache, or the settings files. I don't recall where these are stored on a Windows machine, but usually deleting the config and/or cache files clears that up. SL will run again like it runs for the first time though, with annoying pop ups like "you just spent money, see the balance" and stuff, but works.

I have this problem also, click the desktop icon to start SL and get the crash logger and then....nothing, SL doesnt load.
I got round it by right clicking the desktop logo and clicking 'run as administrator' from the menu. Im in Vista so I dont know if you have this option on XP.

i had a laptop with a 200m once...

forget it. 2fps if that much at all is no fun.
