Interesting.. There are two or three items I've created, spent over a hour, sometimes upwards of 5, working on. I'm listed as the creator when they aren't in my inventory, but when I have them in there.. I can't copy them. Creator is listed as none. I Can't copy them on the ground. I'd really appreciate to know what's going, on why I can't fiddle with my own prim objects. Tad bit annoying.. I was told by 2 helpers that it had something to do with an asset server, and would be remedied in this new patch. No Go.

Does the object have anything with "No Copy" permissions within its inventory?

No copy textures (some freebie boxes even have these) will do that
or if you used someone elses prim to build with, you could have a problem there

I actually am having this problem too -- And I thought it may be because I was using someone elses object to create a new object, so I did the whole item from scratch, no outside textures or anything, and it still comes up with nobody as the creator and it says I can't transfer it or modify it.
Edit: It was the textures after all. *nod*

i wonder if this is part of the same problem that i am having with my house. the house when selected as a whole says that i am the owner but the individual pieces say that they belong to no one. i can position & rotate the house but am no longer able to modify and/or change textures on specific pieces of the house
