Question on the voice-over to any Linden

I've read the PR ads. I've heard the arguements both pro and con. I'm not interested in any of that; My question is technical. I've yet to see a system requirement list, so:

Exactly what are the additional system requirements for the new voice-over?


And, will this be an option we can turn off if our systems can't handle the additional reqs?



I don't use Skype or Yahoo because honestly my old Celeron-D with only half a gig of RAM (and yes i know this is less than the minimum suggested requirement for SL), would never be able to handle the load of both SL -AND- voice.

To anyone, not a Linden, don't reply if you intend to turn this into a pro/con arguement. If you are not a Linden, I seriously doubt that you will know exactly what Linden will require for this feature.
