Can someone tell me why the heck when I enter my credit card in for my account, it says unathorised? I've checked constantly to make sure I have everything right, and I do.. but then I have problems over and over again. -_- I don't understand. <Sigh>

There are some serious problems with entering CC's over the last few weeks. I've had massive problems getting my CC to register, but the customer service people are morons and refuse to actually look into the problem. I've tried countless times entering my CC info, but even after the pending time is over, when I try to buy L$ it says that they don't have a CC on file for me.

I refer you to my SLProfiles blog post about my run in with customer "serivce", and to this day it's still not resolved because they just don't want to take that extra step to see what the real problem is.

Ask your card issuer (bank, etc.) what the technical reason is for them refusing the transactions. They will be able to give slightly more detail - it might be that your name / address that LL have on file does not match up with what your card company's expecting, and hence they're refusing the transaction for that reason.

My account has been payment verified for about a year, but it just lost it this morning, just like that. I just made a transaction the other day just fine.

It isn't the banks connection because I've tried to change my account info several times to more than one card and/or method of payment!

Linden Labs, please look into this...you are losing money because of it.

EDIT: It just came back up, but now I'm using Paypal. Hmm. Flakey transaction server? Weird stuff.

I'm wondering it my "no credit card information on file" due to

1)having setup the CCinfo on a different machine (i play using different machines at home) and the webpage for "delete and setup CC" dialogs at me about cookies.

and/or

2)having lost and renewed my CC thru my bank invadiaadating what info LL had on file?

awaiting reply before following through with updating info...
