You have got to be joking here. Did *ANYONE* think to give a common courtesy notice that the grid has to come down? The 2 minute warnings are proven to be effective, even if they don't allow people enough time to finish up something they are doing.
For 3 years i've been active in Second Life. For 3 years i've bit my tongue and went with the flow. But GOOD LORD, it's called COMMON COURTESY. LL *KNOWS* that people have business' in Second Life which transfers into Real Life. LL *KNOWS* that us content creators can't just POOF in the middle of a project and then have to spend HOURS to repair/replace it because of a crash. THIS IS ALL KNOWN. So why, why WHY can't we get a smidgen of COMMON COURTESY to those who keep your game active and online and put's up with ALL the botched updates and patches and repatches, lag and crashes, harassments and griefting, to WARN us when someone decides to pull the grid??
LL has been taken some serious hits with all the technical problems and the latest security breeches. You would THINK that they would at least remember the basics of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION with a hint of courtesy.
I'm *SO* mad right now, as if you can't tell. THREE HOURS i've been working on a script set for a new products and guess what. I COULDN'T SAVE IT!!!! So you know what that means? I get to REDO it and spend 3 MORE hours because i couldn't have a chance to finish what i was doing.
Thanks a lot LL. You are seriously needing some basic customer service courses.

Thanks a lot LL. You are seriously needing some basic customer service courses. Here here i was on my way to an important meeting with some vendors when I was kicked off. The Lindens need to understand that they dont just run a business, they run a world where other people have business. Its not only an inconvenience to not give us notice when the grid is about to go down, its just plain rude.
