I removed some calling cards of people I dont deal with anymore this past Sunday. I went into the calling card folder, deleted the cards of people I dont deal with anymore and then even emptied the trash can. Yet these people still show up in my IM list and I still get online/offline notifications about them. What did I do wrong? Or is this broke in SL?

Try deleting from the actual friends button by removing, then delete the card in inventory and whaa laa deleted.

Yupyup this is a bit confuzzling, but they're two different things now. Related, if you delete someone from your Friends, you'll still have their Calling Card.

Yes, the two systems are confusing..
Calling cards and friends are seperate...
as removing friend does not remove card....
and remove card does not remove friend...
