Can someone explain to me why the dwell system isn't consistant like it should be? I honestly think there is something wrong with the calculator part of the program. I can hold a large event and not get paid or get paid very little and then the next event have a smaller turn out at the events and get a decent dwell payment.I know that it is based off of how many visitors and how long they stay. I have also noticed there seems to be more of a problem with it on stipend day/payday. Payday you do not get much of a dwell payment at all, sometimes nothing at all. Doesn't make sense????

It's not only a function of how much time people spend on your land, but how much time they spend elsewhere, i.e. how much of their Second Life you represented.
To throw a theory out, it's possible more people log in on stipend day, and the influx of L$ causes them to visit a lot of places. Thus, any one "busy" locale on stipend day may have a smaller percentage of the total number of people, spending a smaller percentage of the total amount of time they spend online, than another day that technically had less people spending less time in that same location.
I don't have any statistics to back that up with, though...
