An hour now ive not been able to log into Secondlife, it freezes at Conencting to Region. Ive tried diffrent locations, my last, home, typing one in. Nothing. But I can succesfuly log on via an Alt. So..any idea how to fix this?

Try going to client and clearing group cache. It worked for me. I had a heck of a time getting to land that I go to every day. So far no problem for me getting there again.
There is also the preference cache, you might want to clear that too.
