Ever since this last patch SecondLife has been one hell of a place to try to stay around in.

So often I will be doing something or talking to someone and I wont get any reply, or I'll try to move and I can't then I finally move my mouse over the bandwidth counter and it'll be 0kbps.

This happens SO often that I literally want to rip the servers out and revert SL to 2 months prior, because it never used to happen, or if so like once a week, now its like once an hour!!!

WHAT THE HELL is going on LINDEN LABS?

I know multiple people who say the same happens to them, and even more so annoying is that I never get a notice, I just get dropped.

Anyone know why or have this happening?

I'm having similar problems.... the packet loss is getting higher and higher and stays that way often (10-25%). I can't teleport either and it takes forever to log in and when you do, it takes even more to load everything around you normally. IMO, SL has too much users and Linden Labs can't handle it and won't upgrade their infrastructure until they absolutely have no other choices... Everytime a problem occurs or something break on their end, I get the feeling they "ducktape" it back in place hoping it will last long enough for the users to shut up. When you see headlines on their blogs like "Problem resolved" and the next day "Problem reoccured & fixed", it really feels like they just restart their ol' win98 and hope the problem goes away.

I heard they were going to limit connections to their server to "Payment info used" accounts when the load is too much but I haven't seen them doing it yet. What are they waiting for? Until they can support that many users online at the same time, they should really start taking the necessary measures or they will start losing the ones that spend major bucks on SL.

Let's just hope we all manage to get through this difficult period of SL and that the Linden Labs staff really intend to upgrade their end.
