Hi  I need a new router and wanted to know what you thought the best one to get was. I need one of course that doesnt give me any problems with accessing SL. And I am not computer savy so one that I can just set up and not have to make a lot of "tech" changes. Thanks for your opinions

Depends I guess if you use a Windows or a Mac.
My lil' Linksys Wireless G Router works very well so far. I think I paid a whole $55 for it at WalMart.
It works. I have my wireless locked down so others cant "sneak in". And it has the 4 ports for my other 4 desktops.
Most consumer level routers are pretty easy to set up. Just following the directions (usually install CD, plug in router, etc, etc)

At the moment I have a Linsky and have had it for almost 3 yrs but am having some performance problems so was thinking I should get a new one. I wasnt sure if I should get the same or if there were any better ones. Oh and I have windows. Tks for the response Tod69

ive ran SL on
a noname brown box a cupple of linksys's a d-link a microsoft and a netgear
with no issues at all
that netgear tho, is a wireless (802.11g) it was like 30 bucks at comp-usa with 1 pci (desktop) wlan card, course it still has wired ports
i think they are normally like 50-55$ but they also seem to be on sale constantly
