For the last two hours, approximately 2-4am EST, I have been unable to log in. Second Life freezes on the "Connecting to Region" section of login. Friends online see notification that I log in and out, but I cannot get past that section of login.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled the SL.exe, and all of my computer's specs are well above the required to run the program, and all drivers updated with 1.10

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you Thili for the assist, but that has done nothing either. Even launching from your link, I am unable to get past the Connecting to region section of the login. :( Before I reinstalled, I had tried logging in from both my home point, and last point.

Any other suggestions?

You might try these steps:

Could be a firewall...as each sim has it own IP, so if being blocked you would log into SL, but then fail as the firewall is blocking any traffic from the sim itself.

Michael - No network/firewall changes have been made on my end. I crashed, and have been experiencing this issue ever since.

Lee - All of those steps have been tried, to no avail. Home point and last location, as well as the Taco link Thili provided, and the Ahern location on the wiki get me no further than region connection.

If that firewall is software, you MUST reconfigure it.
