I'm using an ATI Radeon 1100, with the latest drivers. But Second Life insists the card is using outdated drivers, and refuses to run. May I have help with this?

We can try. Vista, XP, or other?
One cause of this can be updating the drivers (at any point in the past) without first uninstalling the old drivers. This can leave crud in the registry that SL picks up on. So you might want to first try uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. Some people have actually had to use driver or registry cleaners to fix this up.
Another cause can be having OpenGL parameters set incompatibly with SL. Try the driver uninstall/reinstall first tho - it is the most likely cause.
After you reinstall the drivers, you may want to uninstall/reinstall SL as well. You may want to delete its data directory (On a PC: Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/SecondLife) as well.

Frequently computers ship with the bare bones drivers for video cards. DL and install the latest drivers from the ATI website and you should be good to go...

I tried using windows updater, but it claims I have the latest drivers.
Nevermind. I found them, but it still remains to be seen whether they're right or not.
Hold on a second. I've played a few high end games since getting this computer, Like STALKER, Oblivion, and FEAR, and none of them had any problem with my video card drivers before.
