PLEASE fix the rotation bug!!!! PLEASE!!! I am so surprised that a game such as this that is dedicated to modeling and that it is such a major part of the environment that this bug would not be fixed. It happened a couple patches ago. It is no longer possible to make a spiral ramp. I use four twisted fully cut cylinders all moved in 90 degree increments and when I hit that damn 180...the damn prim flips over on me. I reported it...but dunno if that helped.

set it to 179pointsomething, there's further notes on the margin of the error in a different thread.

Rotate it using the mouse. If you drag the mouse pointer out beyond the yellow ring that shows up, rotation will lock at 22.5 degree intervals.

I started to bring back the Deus Via game in Celadon, but when turning the chariots, the bug would make them flip around to the underside of the board. Rather disturbing... But it gives me an interesting idea.
Hopfully, this morning's patch will fix this.

dunno what you're talking about, i make them all the time.
make disc, cut to .1 thickness, set twist to 90 degrees, or -90 degrees... hollow as needed... works fine for me..
made two spiral staircases lastnight and one the nighe before.
i think the 180 issue is not a spiral problem, just a rotate problem, manual rotation helps, and i agree pointer outside of the yellow ring shows the angle and it seems to "notch" as you hit the 22.5 degree increments.

The bug has been fixed as of the last version.
Though I DID get some odd results with one rotating script... But I'm not sure if that was tdue to the values given to the script or an actual bug. For now I'll asume it was the script.
