This is an error I have seen one or two threads about further back in the forum, but not a single answer.

You see, I can't start the game.
It's not that I can't login (of course, I don't know, I haven't gotten that far), but that I can't actually get the game to RUN.
If I try to start the game, I've tried the shortcut, the original *.exe and r-clicking the original and 'run as', to no avail. Whatever I try, a message of some sort is displayed for a fraction of a second, and then nothing happens. No loading screen. No further error messages. Windows just rolls along merrily.
I have no idea what the dialogue that appears actually says, it's far too fast to read.
Anyone have any idea why it's doing this?

I have:
GeForce 6600 GT 128 MB
3.0 Mhz P4
512 MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c

windows xp?, if so try make a new user, log in on that, install SL, and then try starting it.

I know sounds odd, but i had some wierdness way back that didnt let me start some programs, so i made new user, started it and it worked, reason was some background program shut it down for me <.<

You could check for spyware with this > link <
