got booted, now asks to do an update, click update says connecting...then i get an error

f0d478c6-780d-19cb-88a0-4e92a2144f50.tmp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

uninstall SL and download the 1.6.1 installer from the site here.
