Nvidia 8800GTX Woes - advice sought

Hello all.

I have been unable to get SL to work stable on my new PC. My suspicion is that the issue lies with the interaction with the graphics card. The symptoms include frequent crash to desktops, and sometimes, not always, the PC will blue screen and instantly reboot (unable to read the error code). This is not happening on my older PC with an Nvidia 6800.

Any ideas? These crashes are only occurring in SL, all other programs on the system work fine.

Could you post your system specs? That would help.
