Using linkd.exe to move SL's cache location - How?

I posted on another one of the forums about this a couple months ago, asking how to move SL's cache if possible. Someone responded, telling me I could use linkd.exe to move it. I have linkd.exe, but I forget how exactly to use it. I would be much obliged if anyone who knows how exactly could give me a detailed walkthrough, as well as a link to where to get linkd.exe if possible so anyone else who happens to read this thread can do it themselves.
