Move Tutorial in Orientation Don't work

The First Star/lesson in 'Move' tutorial just don't work!

It tells me to move to the Target under the sign, but it doesn't do anything (Give me the star)!

Anyone else have this problem?

It isn't working properly at the moment .

You'll be able to complete all the other tutorials (all the stars) except that one, but it shouldn't cause any problems and you should get the "key" anyway after you've done all the required ones.

Otherwise, if you find you've done everything you can do on Orientation Island and there's no mention of a key, in the center you'll have a "Help Island" billboard. Just click that and you'll get a landmark to a Help Island to move on.



If you arrive on Help Island and the tutorial is still up (top left of the screen), click on Inventory (bottom left) and type "worn" (without the quotes) where it says "Type here to search". You'll see a left of everything you're wearing and one of the things will be "Orientation Guide", right-click on that and pick "Detach from yourself" to get rid of it.

What is the 'Key' award for completing the Tutorial, can you explain in details what this key and what it does?

OI is comprised of "required" and "optional" tutorials: 1 required and 2 optional for every area.

The idea is that you have to complete all of the 4 required tutorials before you can leave Orientation Island (even though you can actually leave at any time).

If you completed all of the tutorials, your tutorial will show the picture of a key which you can click for a landmark off Orientation Island, and on to Help Island. It's the same result you get if you just click the billboard in the center of the island.

If you're logged on in-world right now at the moment and want some help there, just let me know the number of the island (at the top of the screen, to the right of menus, you'll see your location... it'll say "Orientation Island XXX" you're on and I'll jump over .

It is working now. I'm glad I wasn't the only person struggling with this last night!

I had the exact same problem about a month and a half ago when I first arrived on OI. It took me a while to figure out that I could just leave even without having earned "the key".

Did you ever get frustrated playing one of those text programmes... in the room you can see a key... 'get key'.. you cannot get key... 'pick up key'.. you cannot pick up key... 'use key'.. there is nothing to use the key on.... OH FFS.. where is the quit button LOL.... welcome to SL.
