Whenever I right/left click, I have to click about 100 times to get options, and even then it doesnt always work. I re-installed, but it's still the same.

Could you elaborate a bit? Because it would help to know what you are trying to click. If it's something in-game, like a text menu, then you got to take into account that some sims are simply subject to incredible amounts of lag, and so it could be an eternity before you get any response from your clicks. If the problem is with the SL client options, make sure your mouse drivers are up to date. Some shoddy mice come with crappy drivers that don't work with certain programs too well.

I have a nice Copperhead razor mouse, so I am pretty sure that is not the problem. I suppose it is very possible that I am lagging too much, but again, it does not seem this way.

What exactly is going on is when I want to sit somewhere, do something, click on myself or someone else, it either never comes up or takes forever to come up, after clicking over and over again.

What can I do to cure this?

You should have no problem with the drivers, then. Razer mice are some of the best there are.

Usually, that's lag. it could be due to your internet connection. If you don't have too much bandwidth available at some, you could get lag like that. Check the tiny little bars in the top right corner of your screen in SL for connection issues: if the bar on the right is full red at any point, that means SL is using a LOT of bandwidth at that moment. Clicking on the object more obviously won't help. The reason you may never have anything come up is because the command may not have been received by SL. That could be due to problems with your connection having packet loss. Again, consult those two little bars; the one on the left gets high and red when you have a lot of packet loss. As for a way of fixing the problem, all I can really suggest is taking a look at your internet connection and see why you don't have enough bandwidth, or why you DO have packet loss.

If that is happening all the time, and it doesn't spike at the critical moments when your clicking isn't registered, then I am baffled as well. It usually fluctuates constantly when I am playing SL, depending on what region I am in, what objects there are, etc.

I just found out that when I minimize it, so it doesn't take up the full screen, it runs perfectly. I have a 30 inch dell, so it does take up a lot of room. How can this be fixed?

I can use all my menus like inventory and chat, but I cannot right or left click anyhting in world. I hvae been on the game for a while but yesterday wiped my entire computer and reinstalled everything for virus reasons. not sl looks prettier than it ever has but I cannot interact with anything in the sl world only my menus. I have not found a solution yet so if anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful

ok so I had a newly wiped machine so support didn't think I would need to do this but since they suggested it before they knew my machine was wiped I decided totry it any way and it worked. I uninstalled both second life and My Graphics card. then I reinstalled the graphic card and second life and everything worked fine. hope it works for you as well :)
