Error Messages / Cant get on SL / Can anyone help please?

Hi Guys

Have tried looking tho the support pages and been to help island but nothing seems to work so I am hoping you brillant people in here may be able to (i'm a creep lol)

Basically, went into a weapons sandbox last night to try out a hud and got blasted away by something! Since then, i have not been able to log on. I can just get passed the login pages and then error message 'sim is going down' so I clear that message and then get error message 'clothes are downloading' and it just hangs. When I close these windows it crashes and logs me out of sl. I did manage to stay on once but i was grey and it wouldnt allow me access to anything, i.e. no clothes, newbee hair, etc.

Tried login in at last location, home, typing a new quite address but same thing happens.

I have de installed and re installed sl a few times and made sure that every trace of sl was out of computer. Same prob. Have tried to log onto a friends account and that works fine. So its not comp.

I know who shot me and I have tried to contact them so see what they used on me but got no repsonse.

Just cant seem to get on at all and I dont want to create new av cause I have spend loads of money on non transferrable stuff (if I could access it to transfer lol)!

Was on release canidate when it went down and tried downloading both that and normal sl. Same probs

Please can anyone help or offer any suggestion as to what I can do?

You may be ghosted. Try going back to your friends computer and get her/him to log on and send you an IM. That sometimes jerks the servers in line and it will finally log you out so you can log in again.

If that don't do it.......I'm out of ideas for now.

You might have a badly broken attachment, someone had a similar problem a while back and whenever they logged in they crashed whatever sim they tried to login to.

If I remember right, the sleek client (http://code.google.com/p/sleek/) has the ability to login with no attachments etc, perhaps use that.

If you get in, then I'd suggest wearing a complete new set of clothes and attachments so it ensures nothing at all that was attached before is now.

I don't think it's possible to log in without your attachments if you were already wearing them. I believe people who had this happen needed to get a Linden to fix their avatar. You might find a solution here...
