Ok at first I put it off as an asset server issue, but lately for the past two weeks me and only me, none of my friends, can NOT cross a sim border. Try to cross one and it gives me a little blue box in the lower left hand corner of my screen telling me it couldn't teleport me in a timely fashion then rubberbands me back to the border of the sim I tried to leave. Any attempts after that result in being unable to attempt to cross the border like the sim is crashed when it obviously isn't. 90% of the time I can't even TP anywhere, I have to log out and set my login position to the sim I wanted to goto. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm also having a problem crossing SIM lines, but mine isa little different from the OP.
When I cross a SIM line I just keep going uncontrollably untill I fly off of the world. Then SL logs me out and freezes my PC requiring that I re-boot and re-log. This totally sux. Prior to this update i would runnerband when I crossed a SIM line, but would usually make it across on the second try. |

Actually its very similar to mine as I countinously fly offworld till I eventually rubberband back or log out. |

This is something being experienced and reported by a lot of people. It's often referred to as "limbo flying"... trying to travel somewhere and just continuing to go in a straight line.. and going..and going... sometimes even past a sim border and into void sims (which are not supposed to be transversable). Just to see what happened I just let my av keep flying one day... and soon I was out of sight of the entire grid. It's odd that the graphics keep working, but all control and input/output is lost.
Results in one of two things: forced relog or a rubber-band effect as you just described, where you wind up right back where you started (and often frozen in place and having to relog anyway). It's a common enough thing that someone at LL should be seriously looking into that one. _____________________

Actually I can go back to traveling around within the sim I started after the rubberbanding, but I can't exit the sim. Every other sim acts like its down even though I can see it clear as day. Even teleporting doesn't work. Its like the asset server can't relocate my data to the next sim. |

I don't get that very often. In what sims do you see this happen?

Every sim I try to goto. What happens if you try a direct teleport using the map system, either by region or double-clicking on another area? _____________________

What happens if you try a direct teleport using the map system, either by region or double-clicking on another area? Same error "We cannot complete your teleport in a timely matter please try again in a few minutes" or something like that. Only way I can TP to an area is when I start up the client with a SLurl or setting the location to log in at in the preferences where you would normally set AT HOME or LAST POSITION. |

This may be a known bug.
http://secondlife.com/support/known-issues.php SL-10097 Avatars with complex attachments (furries, robots, etc) rubber band on region crossing Affects: 1.9.0.15, 1.10.5.1 (Hot, Simulator General) _____________________

From Serenity I can't access any of my neighbors nor TP to anywhere outside Serenity. Log into another sim such as FlyinTails or Wolf Valley and I get the same problem. I can't leave any sim to enter another through any means other then a SLurl when not logged in or setting my location manually before logging in. |

vatars with complex attachments (furries, robots, etc) rubber band on region crossing Yeah Angel, I'd forgotten about that. If the avatar is complex, try simplifying or putting on a normal av and see if the problem persists. If it does, it wasn't the avatar. If it vanishes, you'll know it was the avatar and will need to cut down prim use a bit. _____________________
