Capable of running second life as "fluidly" as possible,by that I mean running multiple programs like aim, a few pages, a media player, maybe downloading a song or two and have everything appear (full detail) within a few resonable seconds with your draw distance set at 512. what kind of internet connection, video card, memory, processor, etc (let's just pretend money DID grow on tree's and it were harvest time) would be capable of rendering and processing all that stuff! I currenly have A dual core 2.8, 3G of Ram, Nvidia 7900 GTX 512 Card and I'm topping (and by that i mean a split second) at 45 in pretty dense area's (AMSTERDAM) but it take's OVER a minute to load all the buildings and it will level off between 7-15 and I know I should be pullin more without having to disable any antivirus or firewall settings, I feel it should be rendering just a little bit quicker or not? (I don't expect miracles either I know SL is dynamic) Regardless any advice on specific components, their priority over each other (more memory or faster processor?) would be greatly appreciated, if your running a similar config please let me know what kind of reading your getting in AMSTERDAM you can find it most of the times in popular places thats the benchmark I've been using, we can then compare results with hopes of tweaking to......P..e..r..f..e..c..t..i..o..n.....(sorry the OCD sometimes takes ahold) usually it contain's an average of 20-40 av's. If there's anyone that can suggest a better method of benchmarking my pc's performance I thank you in advance for your contribution:) Ciao!
