My laptop just broke last night so now I am trying to access Second Life from my big ol'PC(windows XP though).

Once I try opening it up it says
"Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers are out of date or unsupported. Please make sure that you have the latest video card drivers installed. If you continue to see this message" yadda yadda yadda.

Is there anyway I can update my drivers.. without having to buy a new video card?
If so, how?

Thank you,
-Blaire. :)

I'm not sure what you are asking but usually you go to the website of the maker of the card and download the most recent driver and install it. Make sure that you have the model of the card because if you install the wrong driver, you will really bork your computer.

Also, read the documentation as you usually have to uninstall the previous driver.

I usually do this by going to Control Panel/Display/name of card/Uninstall Driver but the instructions may be different for your card..

Anyone else have any suggestions?
