Hey all you people having problems with SL client crashing before even logging in... do you run xfire? I ran Xfire and it detected SL just fine and everything was good, one day SL crashed for some reason i cant remember... Now when I try to run SL with Xfire trying to load SL, SL client will crash. Just a thought, you also dont have to turn off xfire just take it off your list of installed games. If its not in the list of installed games just try turning xfire off and running SL. Just a little thing I found =) hope it helps
